What’s Your Body Type? – Part 3: Pear

Are you a bombshell beauty with a banging bod like Jenny from the Block?

Well girl…work your curves! Pear shaped women are proportionally smaller on top but easily pack weight onto their lower bodies and usually have a hard time toning their arms and shoulders. But boy do you look great in a swimsuit or a form-fitted dress! Pears often become obsessed with toning and trimming down their lower body – butt, hips and thighs – but don’t neglect what’s above the belt.

At-Home Workout:

Stand with your right leg forward and your left leg extended behind you, toes on the floor. Bend your right knee and dip your left knee toward the floor, so you’re in a lunge position. Place your arms straight out in front of you or out to the sides. Swiftly jump up and switch legs in midair, in a motion like a scissor. When your back knee brushes (or nearly brushes) the ground, jump again. Keep jumping continuously, without resting, for a full set. To prevent injury, try to land as softly as possible.
