Growing up, I prayed so hard to be in the in-crowd. Once I got in, I prayed even harder for God to take me out. Looks can be deceiving. I realized that the view was way better from the outside and that was where I belonged…at a distance.

In true friendship, you don’t have to try so hard to fit in or be a friend…it happens effortlessly. Don’t sacrifice who you are to be on the “inside.” It’s more room outside anyway. Be free.
