Ferguson, Mo. – There’s Still Work To Be Done

Everything I do, I do with the goal in mind to make a better life for my family.

I’m still going through the process of making it to the promise, but what gives me the extra push and keeps me moving is when my family is putting forth work as well. When I found out that my younger cousin (pictured above in the blue shirt) DeAvon was featured in The New York Times because of the work that he’s doing in his community (Ferguson) I was extremely proud. To know that he is putting his efforts towards a cause that he wholeheartedly believes and is passionate about further inspired and motivated me to work harder.

Bravo little cousin. Keep pushing, the work has just begun.
