My Couture Swagg is my passion!
At any given moment, I’m subject to have a thousand different ideas running through my head. I never settle for mediocre or the bare minimum. God has placed this uncanny love for beauty and fashion in my heart, and I refuse to let it lay dormant.
Stephanie Michelle Bird was born on May 4, 1991 in Cape Girardeau, to Calvin and Carolyn Bird.
On December 21st, 2013, Stephanie graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with emphasis in Fashion Merchandising. She spent numerous semesters on the Dean’s List and recipient of the Michael Davis Mass Communication Scholarship. While a student at Southeast, Stephanie was a member of the Love Fellowship Gospel Choir. She later became a member of Alpha Theta Omega Christian Sorority, Incorporated where she served as the Public Relations Coordinator of the Esther Epsilon chapter.
In 2010, Stephanie put the vision that God had given her to work when she became the owner of Rosie’s Beauty. She has been blessed to serve as lead makeup artist at countless fashion shows, weddings, bridal showers, photo shoots, and other events. The purpose of Rosie’s Beauty is to help women discover who they are in Christ through beauty and fashion, and to bring to surface the God-confidence that they need to survive. Stephanie uses her testimony of how she overcame low self-esteem and depression to empower the lives of women of all ages. What once started as a hobby has now turned into a ministry.
Stephanie Bird now works full-time as divisional supervisor of the women’s department at J.C. Penney, as well as continuing to build her career as a freelance makeup artist, beauty blogger, and image consultant.
